Acting - Juggling : Johan Swartvagher
Juggler for 10 years, he meets Raymond Peyramaure in 2004, with whom he trains to become an actor specialised in body expression.
In 2005, he creates "Au Pied du Canapé", a show he plays solo more than 80 times in France and Europe. With this show he meets Jean Daniel Fricker who becomes then a precious adviser bringing his external view on various Johan's creations.
In 2006, he implements the FAAC (Alternative Self-managed Formation to Circus Arts) and keeps involved in it with 16 courses of 10 days each. Within this association of artists, he develops his skills notably with Iris, Thierry André and Stefan Sing.
During 2007, Johan also takes part within a group to a research project held by Jean Daniel Fricker about the Indian Butoh style of juggling and dance. This will naturally lead them to India with a really inspiring time (about 1 month) spent in Hampi.
In parallel, he continues his scene experience, in particular with "Martine a la plage" team, with whom he creates "Mars 07", a duo-show of 12 mins with three clubs and an electric guitar. And more recently, he develops the night "Salade Tomates Oignons" (BLT french style), which is a trans-disciplinary project gathering the art of photography, documentary creation, live musiv and circus acts.
In 2008, he manages with other the project "Work in Progress Arts Meeting", a gathering of 70 European artists in Poland from February to April 2009.

First "juggl’contortist", Jean Daniel Fricker is a singular artist who combines juggling pratices and contorts with character in his pieces like "L’oiseau Brank" or "Feu"...
After ten years of street, theatre and circus experiences in more than 20 countries, he presents his solo performance called "i"; which has a real surprising impact on current circus art, from the union it offers between his juggling experience, the butoh dance and contortism. www.jonglorsion.com
Music : Laurent Bouquet
Laurent plays and composes French songs, "realistic and illustrated", for the band "Foutaise". He also composes original sound tracks for movies and documentary films.
Technical needs :
> a minimum of 4 meter height and 4x6 meter for scenic space.
> a 220V plug not further than 20 meter from the scene.
> a sound system with CD player (if your space is quite small the collectiv can supply the CD player).
> a toilet block with shower.
The show has been created between July and December 2005. It received the support of several French artistic places ("AJ36", "La Châtre MJC", "Pont des Champs"...).

The juggling training courses are suitable to people of all ages.
They are developed to help and trigger an explosion of yourself.
Johan considers here juggling practices like a way to free your mind and body.
Therefore meeting times are turned to this aspect. You will freely use your body to throw things and shout out from yourself.
You will try to tackle this body freedom with closed eyes experience, collective improvisation, trust play, self and outside listening.
An additional aspect of this juggling training course is a writing session to understand "what i want and how i can express it".
For this work, you will pass through a self research time with advice of Johan, on several important themes, such as time and space management, variation and contrast notions.

Then, regularly, the trainees will present their work on stage, at the end of training courses to be confronted to the public, get used to it and gain in self-confidence. By these presentations, they will work on the stressful question of the "fall", fundamental aspect in juggling, and also the relationship with the public, the creation of a visually strong actor and juggling.

The juggling training courses are sometimes accompanied by the electric guitar musician, Laurent Bouquet.
